National Flag Football is the largest NFL FLAG football affiliate in the country. We operate leagues in 11 states, featuring over 120+ locations, playing host to over 40,000 children annually. National Flag Football is the gold standard when it comes to flag football, offering the very best of everything when it comes to youth programming. From NFL FLAG reversible jerseys, the best playing fields, background check and trained volunteer coaches, quality officials, site directors, awards, unique championships, to a team of full-time programmers and marketers, we are committed to ensure that the National Flag Football experience is one the customer will remember.
However, due to it's premier offering, not all leagues are affordable to many children in the inner city. So much so, that these programs are not even offered in communities where these are the children that could use this type of program the most. You ask why?
It's mentioned that the only option to bring a program like this to the city would be to strip down everything so that it's cost effective. Would that mean, no NFL FLAG jerseys? Dirt playing fields? No background checks for coaches? No officials or directors? No awards? Barely enough teams in a league because there is no marketing budget? No opportunity to play at unique venues like Ford Field, or the Big House? Is this the only option? No way! Not on our watch!
The National Flag Football Association is a Michigan based 501c3 organization. It is created with the sole intent of offering those less fortunate an opportunity to play in an incredible flag football experience no different then the ones offered in many of the other communities that National Flag Football operates. No question that we will cut corners to provide a fabulous offering to those who need it most.
We will work with community leaders, school districts, parks and recreation departments, heads of industries, and major corporate partners to ensure that every child that wants to play NFL FLAG football will have an opportunity to do so.
